The Wesley Foundation at LA Tech is an uncommon community of followers of Jesus Christ, which seeks to
LOVE as He loves, SERVE as He serves, and MOVE as He moves
so the Kingdom of God is lived out wherever we go.

Each year, we invite students to participate in Wesley’s Summer Missions. During these missions, our hope is to come alongside the work of the church already moving in the areas we serve. We aim to uplift, encourage, strengthen, and aide them in whatever way we can. We seek to shine the light of Christ to all we come in contact with on these missions. We know only Jesus can deliver, save, justify, and redeem the world, so we boldly and courageously go into the world proclaiming His great name and wondrous story!

As a mission team, we grow together in deep and intimate community and love. Team development is as essential as the work of our hands
and hearts we seek to do on the mission.

At the end of the fall quarter we invite students to serve the community of North Louisiana before heading home for Thanksgiving break. What happens is incredible. This is an opportunity for students to love on the community that they spend all year taking from. We take care packages to local late night workers with personalized notes. We visit assisted living facilities and government housing to play with the children.  It’s all about showing students simple ways they can love others that they continue even after the weekend is over.
