Testimony of Matthew Ramsaur

Recently, a brother and friend of The Wesley moved to North Carolina to continue pursuing his vocation of sharing God's story through video. The post below is a testament of his time in Ruston, which he shared on Facebook in thanksgiving for The Wesley Foundation.

Today, we want to highlight this testimony, share one of his early videos of Wesley (circa 2013-2014), and offer heartfelt prayers for his future and thanksgiving for his presence at Wesley throughout the years!

"Seven years ago I moved back to Ruston. I didn’t have many friends, and my dreams to work in film were harder to reach. Little did I know, that was all about to change. I discovered a place called The Wesley Foundation.

Over the next 5 years, The Wesley Foundation reshaped everything about me. I had more friends than I could count. The majority of my best friends today are because of the Wesley. My relationship with God was more real than I had ever known it to be. Understanding the essence of having community made more and more sense. I had the opportunity to serve on missions to 3 foreign countries. And I was able to slowly improve my filmmaking again with the opportunity to teach others.

The people of Wesley accept you for who you, are and meet you where Jesus would. I’m very thankful for my time at Wesley as well as working there for a year. Since being grown and impacted, I‘m taking what I’ve learned with me into my next chapter in life.

This video gives an inside glimpse of my time at Wesley."
